Things are finally starting to settle down around the apartment. Ariel is able to get out and walk and Aydon seems to love the time in his stroller. Whenever he is awake he just stares around the apartment. It is really incredible to watch him take in everything for the very first time. |

The first few days of Aydons life at home were spent making new acquaintances. His grandmother and aunt came in from Alaska to spend some time with him and help Ariel and I out around the house. Both purposes were and are greatly appreciated. Grandpa and Joan came in from NC and their presence is always welcome. They have an amazing ability to keep things in perspective and we hope that Aydon will be able to find the same comfort with them later in life that we do now. |

Matt and I wanted to share a couple photo’s from today’s appointment with our midwife. I’m now 38 weeks and starting last night I began having minor contractions… Needless to say this was exciting progress for Matt and I.
The appointment proved to be an interesting one this morning. After having an unusually high blood pressure reading my midwife decided to strap me up to a monitor for 20 minutes to see how Aydon was doing. Good news is he’s doing great, she said his heart rate is completely normal and he’s very active (I think he’s wondering what the heck is going on in there). It was fun to listen to his heart beat for such an extended time and Matt got some great video of it which we will have posted soon!
I have another appointment scheduled for Friday to check blood pressure at which point they’ll decide what’s best to do. The way things are looking Aydon may be arriving a little sooner than we anticipated!

Recently Matt and I put together a fashion shoot in this beautiful abandoned warehouse space out in South Boston. We had two girls come in to do the styling and makeup as well as four models from the area. It was a fun shoot, everybody was wonderful to work with and most importantly we got some great photos!
I just wanted to share with you guys some of the best from the day… Matt and I are very excited about this upcoming wedding season. It will be fun to see how we can use our interest in fashion to create some beautiful and stylish images of your wedding day!
