Emily and Adam Engaged | Walden Pond and Charlestown Navy Yard Engagement Session

Matt and I met up with Emily and Adam earlier this fall for their engagement session. We started off the session at Walden Pond out in Concord, MA, if you haven’t been there you should definitely check it out sometime! There’s a beautiful walking trail the circles the entire pond, lot’s of people kayak/swim during the summer time, We’ll definitely be going back to play (without our cameras)!

After we spent some time in the woods, we all headed to the Charlestown Navy Yard for some pictures. Adam lived right next to the Navy Yard when Emily and him first started dating so what better place to go back to for some images! The light was perfect by the time we got to Charlestown and parked, we had a blast wandering along the harbor and getting some awesome images with the ships and city in the background.

Hanging out with these two got us even more excited for their wedding next September at the gorgeous Crane Estate in Ipswich, MA!

Andrea and Tyler Engaged | A Fall New Hampshire Engagement Session

Hello blog world, we have been neglecting you lately!!! I’m hoping that this post is the start of much more regular blogging because we have a bunch of amazing weddings, engagement and day-after sessions to share with you!! We started off November with two amazing weddings and are gearing up for our second to last wedding of the 2011 season… whew, I can’t believe it’s coming to a close. Matt and I will finish out the season having photographed 31 weddings since the beginning of March, we’ve had an amazing time at every one of them and we can’t wait to share our favorites images from each of them! 2012 is booking quickly and we’re so excited about all of the amazing couples we’re working with next season. We do still have plenty of dates available so if you’re looking for a photographer for your wedding next year, we’d love to hear from you!

Okay, enough chattering… First up in our long lineup of wonderful images to share with you; Andi and Tyler’s engagement session in New Hampshire. Let me just say how much fun we had with these two!! They are super easy going and completely in love!! We started off the session at Andrea’s family’s farm visiting the animals and wrapped up the session down on the lake where her parents have their home. We even got a chance to meet and photograph their adorable pup!! Enjoy!!

Beth and Jonah | Boston Engagement Session Teaser

Right now I’m in the midst of editing a few of our recent weddings and engagement session which I can’t wait to share with you on the blog! I just couldn’t resist posting a couple of images from our engagement session on Sunday with Beth and Jonah. These two were pretty much the cutest couple ever, you know the kind of couple who seems absolutely perfect for one another… like, can’t stop smiling and whose happiness is just infectious. Matt and I left their session so excited to go through their pictures and I knew I had to post just a couple on here right away!

Romana and Eddie

Matt and I had the pleasure of traveling down to Marshfield, MA for our recent engagement session with Romana and Eddie. I promise there are lot’s of images to follow but for today I wanted to share with you a very favorite image of mine from their day…. Actually I have to say it might be my new favorite image of the season (atleast for engagements). When we travel somewhere unfamiliar to us, we really rely on the couple to pick favorite locations. We have Romana to thank for this one, she was very excited as she described an old phone booth down the road from their beach house and we’re so glad we went there!

Lauren and Chris | Boston Engagement Session

Lauren and Chris were the perfect example of why we do engagement sessions! Engagement sessions for us are not just about great pictures (don’t get me wrong, we make sure you get those!), to us they’re very much about getting to know our couples. We try to have the couple pick something for their shoot that they will have fun doing, keep them laughing and completely relaxed. I knew Matt and I would have a blast with these two when Lauren suggested meeting up in Beacon Hill and exploring Boston on foot… She declared that this was one of her and Chris’s ways to spend time together… Wandering, trying to decide on the best place to eat, eating and then wandering more. While Matt and I were in school together we would wander for hours doing the exact same thing. We could not have asked for a better day for weather, it was sunny, breezy day. These two made our job so easy! They were laughing the whole time, I don’t think Matt or I had to crack a single bad joke throughout our time with them.
