Nilda and Sean’s Engaged | New York City Engagement Session

Matt and I had a blast a few weeks ago when we headed down to the old West Village of Manhattan for Nilda and Sean’s engagement session. Sean grew up there so he gave us a tour of his neighborhood!! Getting to know them a bit better made us even more excited to photograph their wedding at their families home next June in gorgeous Marblehead, MA!

Nilda and Sean, thanks so much for having us down your way and for the awesome burger and fries! It hit the spot before we made our way back to Boston!! We can’t wait to see you two this summer!

Beth and Jonah Engaged | Boston Engagement Session

A few weeks ago we met up with Beth and Jonah for their Boston engagement session. They were amazing to work with, super cute and the outfits were perfect! It makes such a difference in pictures when there is effort put into what you’re going to wear for your engagement session, I’ll be posting more about this soon :)!

Kelly and Tom Engaged | Boston Engagement Session

Last week Matt and I met up with Kelly and Tom for their engagement session in Boston. They both looked amazing and we had a blast with them as we wandered the streets from the Boston Public Library to Beacon Hill. We hope you enjoy some of our favorites from their session!

2011 Booking Update & A Couple Images

Matt and I are gearing up (and very excited) for our busy 2011 season! The weather is finally warming up which means lots of engagement sessions lined up over the next couple weeks. We officially kicked off our wedding season in March with Heather and Adam’s wedding in Martha’s Vineyard (Not a bad way to start off the season!), look for a blog post of their day soon! Two weeks ago we photographed Jess and Neil’s wedding at The Wellesley Country Club, I shared some of their getting ready images with you in the blog post right before this one… You can expect to see images from their ceremony and reception here in the next couple weeks!

Matt and I are so excited about all of our awesome clients and their amazing weddings we have lined up this year – Many of whose weddings are at new locations for us; Glen Magna Farms, The Villa, The Hawthorne Hotel, Lynch Park, The Millennium Hotel in Boston, The Museum of Science, The Peabody Essex Museum and Misselwood just to name a few. We do have just a few dates still available for 2011, so if you’re currently planning your 2011 wedding and still looking for a photographer we’d love to hear from you!!

Since a photographers blog post isn’t really complete without images, here are just a few from our engagement session last weekend with Jess and Kevin! They chose to do their session at Larz Anderson Park in Brookline, MA… It was such a great spot for pictures!
We can’t wait for their wedding in July at the Spring Valley Country Club!

Nicole and Kevin | Boston Winter Engagement Session

Matt and I met up with these two at the beginning of the year. Nicole contacted us from LA (their hometown), Kevin was flying into Boston the following weekend for work and Nicole was coming along. They figured since neither had seen Boston and they were recently engaged, what better excuse to have some fun engagement pictures taken while they were visiting. I have to say going into the shoot Matt and I had no clue what to expect. We have a hard time finding couples who live around here who want to layer up in cute scarves, hats and jackets for a winter engagement session and they’re used to 75 degree winters! These two blew us away, not only did they show up dressed perfectly for a winter engagement session but I don’t think that I heard one single complaint about how cold it was… and let me tell you it was cold, one of those 15-20 mph windy days. If they were even the slightest bit cold they did an amazing job of hiding it and looking super relaxed… I mean really Matt and I had a hard time getting any photographs where they weren’t grinning from ear to ear.

So, thank you Nicole and Kevin for being such good sports! Matt and I had a blast with you both and we’re so glad you love your pictures!
