Meet Hartley, he’s the newest addition to our family and we couldn’t be happier to have him! He and Aydon are already best bud’s, Hartley kindly tolerates truck’s driving all over him and big hugs where Aydon lays on top of him with his arms around the neck. There will be more pictures to follow, particularly of him and Aydon. For now we wanted to share with you just one quick picture!

Sorry for the long pause on the blog, it’s been an extra busy last few weeks for us! August was our busiest month of the season and we have so many amazing weddings to share on here so stay tuned! It’s been a while since we posted anything personal so I wanted to share a few images from a mini vacation we took back in July. Some very good friends of our family’s (Ben and Nicky) have a family owned house up on Newfound Lake in New Hampshire and we were fortunate enough to be able to join them up there for a few days!

Here are just a few images from our time on the lake!

Little Red Wagon

Matt and I have had our eye on the cutest little red Radio Flyer wagon for the longest time, figuring it would be perfect for days at the beach with Aydon. This past Sunday we decided it would be a good time to pick one up, so while Aydon was with the sitter Matt and I had a blast at Toys R Us. Of course that afternoon Matt had to pull out the tools and put the wagon together! So that evening we decided to take Aydon out for a walk in his new toy. I just wanted to share a couple images from our little adventure!

Philadelphia Portrait Session

Back in May Matt and I photographed Sabrina and Ron’s gorgeous wedding at Elm Bank, you may recognize them from our recent blog post which had our favorite photographs from their day. When we first met with Sabrina and Ron back in february, we learned that they were from Philadelphia and we knew they had hopes of doing their engagement session in their hometown. Although we didn’t get a chance to get together for a pre-wedding session. Just a couple weeks ago Matt and I were in Philly visiting some friends for the 4th and were lucky enough to meet up with Sabrina and Ron. Ron’s adorable kids, Alice and Max, joined us as well (mind you they are the absolute spitting image of Ron)! We wandered by historic Independence Hall and finished up our shoot at Franklin Fountain, one of Philly’s wonderful ice cream parlors. Matt and I both agreed that their Rootbeer Floats were easily the best we’ve had. Thank you to Sabrina and Ron (Alice and Max too!) for showing us around part of your city… and for the delicious ice cream!
