Matt and I met up with Richelle and Jun last Monday for their engagement session. We’re always excited when couples want to incorporate activities or places that are meaningful to them, so needless to say when these guys suggested skating… We were psyched! Jun and Richelle both wowed us with their freestyle skating – while I was shooting away, I was definitely thinking about the few times I’ve been on blades. Let’s just say I was much less graceful. So thank you guys for introducing us to what skating is all about, I hope you enjoy the images!
Matt and I are working hard on editing all of Sabrina and Ron’s images from their wedding last Sunday at Elm Bank. We’re looking forward to having their slideshow up by tomorrow evening. For now I wanted to Share with you some of my favorite photographs from their wedding day. Sabrina looked absolutely gorgeous and it was quite apparent how hard she had worked planning every detail of their wedding day! This included polka dotted bow ties for the guys, Ron rocked a green and white one while the two groomsmen had pink and white complimenting their tan suites. I loved it!
These two were an absolute joy to photograph, Sabrina started the day out a little shy of the camera but by the end of the day was hamming it up and modeling like a pro. They made our jobs easy and Matt and I had a blast. Thank you guys so much for sharing your special day with us!!
We can’t wait to share more photographs with you but for now I’ll leave you with these:
When Matt and I first sat down with these two, we knew they would be absolutely awesome to work with! They had all sorts of ideas for their engagement session, Chuck particularly had some very strange ideas which were vetoed quite quickly by Leslie. One of the ideas however stuck and we ran with it, Chuck desperately wanted to mock the famous American Gothic Painting. They truly went all out; pitchfork, apron, right down to the pendant on Chucks neck. Yes, I did say Chucks neck…They decided to swap roles for the photo. On Sunday Matt and I arrived a bit early to the Salem Witch House where we had decided to re-create this shot. We were a little worried that we wouldn’t recognize these two. From a mile away we spotted a couple walking down the street in full American Gothic attire.
Matt and I are currently working on editing these wonderful photographs, for now I have posted one of the shots taken after the actual mock. Just to wet your appetite a bit.
Their enthusiasm continued throughout the rest of the shoot, they had lots of special places around salem they were excited to take us to! Not only did they do such a good job of planning the session but they made our job so easy! These two were laughing and joking around the entire time!
Thank you both for all the effort and enthusiasm you brought to the shoot!
We can’t wait to photograph your wedding next May!
Here I am at work capturing photograph number 5, thanks Matt!!
This is why we choose not to wear our Sunday's best to our engagement sessions! |

Hi everyone! I just wanted to share a few family photos with you guys. Matt and I decided to take Aydon down to local, Good Harbor Beach, yesterday for Easter. We packed up cameras, towels and sunblock and headed out for the afternoon. We were shocked to find the beach packed, I mean really packed, with people in a whole range of attire. Many kids and some brave adults had bathing suites and were enjoying the refreshing (cold!) water. I couldn’t believe how warm it was for just the beginning of April. This was Aydons first trip to the beach since last summer when he was a mer 4 months, he absolutely loved it. He was a bit skeptical at first, giving us a disgusted look as we plopped him down in the sand. Within 5 minutes however, he was toddling everywhere, making a beeline for the water whenever he could. He got extra brave towards the end and was running around in the water after we stripped him down to his diaper. We spent a good half hour playing in the water enjoying this unusually warm weather. I can’t remember the last time I went to the beach in April!
Here are a few pictures from our afternoon:

Where do I start… The wedding was a blast. Ashley and Sean got married December 27th, 2010 in Wellesley, MA. The ceremony was held in the beautiful St. Pauls Church; the church was only made more beautiful by all the christmas decorations still up and smiling faces of Ashley and Sean. The ceremony was followed by an equally beautiful, elegant and fun reception at the Wellesley Country Club. The whole evening went perfectly, Ashley and Sean were so cute together and their happiness was quite evident. Congratulations to the both of them!
Last but not least… Here are the pictures!
| Right before leaving I made a couple laps around the dances floor to see if I could catch any last minute, fun dance shots… I’m very happy I did! I promise no one is being hurt in this photo… Just lots of fun being had! |

| And…I’ll leave you with one of my favorites from the night. |

| Matt and I have lots of engagement shoots coming up for our 2010 weddings so look for lots more pictures to come! |
