It is a mixed blessing, even though we have designated mommy work times (when daddy is playing with Aydon) and daddy work times ( when mommy is playing with Aydon) the other parent often gets coerced into playing as well. Despite some of the difficulties, I wouldn’t trade any moment of it for a 9-5 job.

Back in August we made the move from downtown Boston up to gorgeous Gloucester, Ma on the North Shore. It’s so quiet compared to the bustle of Kenmore Square and Fenway Park which was heard all night coming through the windows of our apartment. Before moving to Boston to study at New England School of Photography both Matt and I were avid hikers, climbers and all around outdoor enthusiasts. Over the last few years living in the city its easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the city, moving to Gloucester has reminded us to get outside as much as possible. When Matt and I aren’t editing images, looking at other photographers work for inspiration, working on marketing, staying up to date with the latest releases or blogging, we are outside enjoying the fresh air with our son.

Their mom is supporting them in doing some modeling and they needed images to start their portfolios off so I got to spend a few fun hours with them. Sydney was so mature for her age and a lot of fun to work with, as well as being such a beautiful girl! I’m sure she’ll do great with any modeling she does. Here are a few of my favorites of hers. I’ll share some of Arielle very soon!
