Nicole and Kevin | Boston Winter Engagement Session

Matt and I met up with these two at the beginning of the year. Nicole contacted us from LA (their hometown), Kevin was flying into Boston the following weekend for work and Nicole was coming along. They figured since neither had seen Boston and they were recently engaged, what better excuse to have some fun engagement pictures taken while they were visiting. I have to say going into the shoot Matt and I had no clue what to expect. We have a hard time finding couples who live around here who want to layer up in cute scarves, hats and jackets for a winter engagement session and they’re used to 75 degree winters! These two blew us away, not only did they show up dressed perfectly for a winter engagement session but I don’t think that I heard one single complaint about how cold it was… and let me tell you it was cold, one of those 15-20 mph windy days. If they were even the slightest bit cold they did an amazing job of hiding it and looking super relaxed… I mean really Matt and I had a hard time getting any photographs where they weren’t grinning from ear to ear.

So, thank you Nicole and Kevin for being such good sports! Matt and I had a blast with you both and we’re so glad you love your pictures!

Michele and Emanuele | Boston Engagement Session

Hello out there! Yes, we are still quite alive and busier than ever. Booking season is in full swing and we are happy to announce that we have officially booked 50% of our available dates in 2011. Those of you still looking for a photographer, we do still have many dates open so contact us for our availability…. We look forward to hearing from you! Matt has been hard at work for the last couple weeks on our new website which we are looking forward to launching very soon, I promise! We still have many weddings and engagement sessions to share with you from our 2010 season. We are looking forward to kicking off our 2011 season in March with Heather and Adam gorgeous wedding on Martha’s Vineyard!

For now I wanted to share some images from our engagement session in December with the lovely, Michele and Emanuele. Michele contacted us back in October explaining that she and Emanuele were looking for a photographer here in Boston to take some images in her hometown. Emanuele is from Italy which is where they will be having there wedding this June, yes that’s right.. Italy. There are worse places for a wedding :)… Anyways, in the off season we love getting contacted for engagement and portrait sessions so we jumped at the opportunity to meet them in Boston for a shoot. We met up at the gorgeous Boston Public Library (great spot to hide from the cold and get some great images) and then headed over to the Cambridge side of the river to get a photo with the city in the background. We had a blast with these two and we hope you enjoy looking at some of the images from our time with them!

Carissa and Chris Engagement Session | Ogunquit, Maine

Matt and I had a blast a few weeks ago with Carissa and Chris up in Maine. We always love going to new places so when Carissa suggested this part of Maine, we were excited to go check it out. It turned out to be an absolutely gorgeous location for their engagement session and we walked away with some amazing photographs. Matt and I are looking forward to their wedding next August at the beautiful Misselwood in Beverly, MA.

Richelle and Jun | Cambridge Engagement Session

Matt and I met up with Richelle and Jun last Monday for their engagement session. We’re always excited when couples want to incorporate activities or places that are meaningful to them, so needless to say when these guys suggested skating… We were psyched! Jun and Richelle both wowed us with their freestyle skating – while I was shooting away, I was definitely thinking about the few times I’ve been on blades. Let’s just say I was much less graceful. So thank you guys for introducing us to what skating is all about, I hope you enjoy the images!
